How do I use my Genesis Prepaid Card?

If purchased at an airport: Anywhere that accepts prepaid cards- please note that some countries are prohibited from using Genesis Prepaid Cards.

If purchased from a venue: Anywhere in the US that accepts prepaid cards. At a merchant location, swipe your card, sign for your transaction, or use your four-digit PIN number, and the transaction will be complete.

How do I use my Genesis Prepaid Card online?

For the best results, verify that the merchant accepts prepaid cards. You may also be registered as the cardholder by visiting the CONTACT US page, entering your contact information and the message registration.

How do I create/reset my PIN number?

Call the number on the back of the Genesis Prepaid Card and follow the voice prompts accordingly. Please note:

  • Genesis Prepaid Cards prohibit cash withdrawals from ATM and point of sale terminals.
  • Genesis Prepaid Cards prohibit wire transfer transactions, recurring payments, and applications such as PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp.

How do I reload funds to my Genesis Prepaid Card?

Genesis Prepaid Cards are not reloadable and funds cannot be added via ATM, bank transfer, wire transfer. To continue to utilize Genesis Prepaid Card for your cashless needs, please purchase a new card from a ReadySTATION® kiosk.

How do I cancel my Genesis Prepaid Card

A Genesis Prepaid Card cannot be canceled and there are no refunds for the balance of funds on the card. You can use your Genesis Prepaid Card anywhere that accepts prepaid cards. At a merchant location, swipe your card, sign for your transaction, or use your four-digit PIN number, and the transaction will be complete.

I received a refund, but I no longer have the card, what do I do?

Go to CONTACT US and select the 'Lost or Stolen Card' option.

Can I dispute a charge on my Genesis Prepaid Card?

If you suspect a fraudulent charge, please call the number on the back of the card and follow the voice prompts accordingly.

What are the fees for my Genesis Prepaid Card?

Go to CARDHOLDER AGREEMENTS and select the Agreement for your Genesis Prepaid Card to view the complete list of fees.

Why is my card being declined?

Not enough money on the card. (Requesting more than what is available).

Previous purchase amounts are pending (transaction from earlier is still processing).

Merchant additional holds (gas stations, hotels, transportations, etc, will require additional funds to purchase their services).
